College Vision Statement

GRC is a learning community which embraces the responsibility to support a shared learning vision through the use of data and evidence informed practices. Collaborative networks and targeted professional learning across and within our campuses enhance continuous learning and wellbeing opportunities for the growth and success of our students and staff. Through a culture of high expectations, we aspire to achieve excellence for all.

 

The GRC statement of purpose was collaboratively developed by the college senior executive team as a result of the 2020 situational analysis. Senior executive unanimously support the college as a learning organisation model. At the GRC team meeting in Semester 1, 2021 all GRC teaching staff were provided with the opportunity to endorse the draft statement of purpose. Five members of staff suggested enhancements to the draft statement. The suggestion by one member of staff was acknowledged and agreed to by the College Management Group. The statement of purpose is displayed at all professional learning events to promote its important messages.

After the External Validation process in 2021 the senior executive reviewed the statement of purpose and were unanimous in support of the statement. At the College Team meeting in Term 1, 2022 all teaching staff were provided with the opportunity to provide feedback. The statement of purpose was unanimously supported by staff.
